      Also depends on the price of gas. In CA we pay more than in MO - I assume UGA price is the same everywhere.

      And I don't know why some of you are blasting the author - he makes it very clear what he is doing and cautions the hell out of anybody that be be dumb to blindly follow his strategy.       $1 a day ??? Less power drain than your refrigerator (unless you got one hell of a BIG refrigerator). Somehow the KW power output by the batteries will have a tough time being replaced by the KW drain used by your refrigerator.

      You have a better chance of putting wheels on your refrigerator and getting a LONG extension cord = 20 miles oughta do it.
