Apple's Problems - Bad to the Core?

I like apple products but hate their software. Simply installing Quicktime or iTunes results in all kinds of excess software that isn't wanted or needed. Apple takes liberties with all software they produce, from excess programs/processes to the B.S. restrictions they put on iTunes music. They disgust me.

Besides, why pay twice as much for a Mac? I havne't had any problems with my PC since XP came out.

iPhone Production Rumors Swirl

Who cares? The iPhone is a hyped up product like all apple products. You can get the equivalent product much cheaper elsewhere. Apple has mastered their marketing tactics.

Apple has a P/E of 32 and a forward P/E of 30. Looks like its priced in to me. Only growth stocks have P/E's that high and thats only assuming they can keep that level of growth up.

Wells Fargo (WFC) will become the largest U.S. bank by branches with its bid for Wachovia (WB), after Citigroup (C) withdrew from compromise negotiations late yesterday on concerns about the quality of some of Wachovia's assets. Wells Fargo, with a bid valued at $11.4B, expects the purchase to be completed by the end of the year, and denies it will have to absorb assets shakier than originally thought. As the financial crisis continues to worsen, the U.S. government is considering two dramatic steps to turn around, or at least slow, the damage: guaranteeing billions of dollars in bank debt and temporarily insuring all U.S. bank deposits.
