Read Mr. kreiger's aug 18 article and he was calling for a pullback on AAPL then...I told readers in May that AAPL would be 120 by Nov. and was laughed off the board...

Voice Search: A New Age Has Dawned

I use my phone mostly for calls and some texting,and occasionally,direction... or checking the market...and most people I know,of all ages,do the same.

I wonder how this brave new world of phone apps can be properly monetized over the short term,in the face of hard economic times.Anyhow,how many questions do you want to ask your phone each day?

How Apple Stock Should Be Valued: P/FCF

I am a trader and an old guy...I like aapl because they have a great business model.I don't like the games they play with reporting.Why would a great company want to do that?It reminds me of what the financials are doing and that's not pretty!

That said,Apple has something special that does'nt show up on the quarterly report...SALESMANSHIP.... have the ability to make people want their products,regardless of price.I believe this to be one of their most important assets.

Most everyone who owns a Windows machine really wishes they had a Mac,including me.I'm ordering one as soon as the new offers come this fall....and guess what I'm paying with...profits from my latest aapl trade!!

Is Apple a Better Stock Than Google?

I am thinking about buying a Mac Mini for my home.I'm an old guy,but pretty tech savy. I have windows Vista laptop for travel.Am I making a good move? I already have a good flat monitor and wireless setup and I've been using Safari for windows(which is great)...any thoughts?

While Apple Continues to Lowball Outlook, Mac Shipments Surge

I will say again,AAPL 120 by november...nothing against the company,I really like everything about it...It's the market and the consumer.Walmart had a pretty nice Dell laptop for $350 this weekend,any Mac would be $900 more.People are being squeezed...they would rather have the Mac,but their checkbook says buy the Dell,and trade up to the Mac later,if they can.

With freshmen reporting to college next month that must have a laptop,the lowend machines will rule.Us guys here on this thread can afford a Mac,but you have to think about the masses...and Apple can't maintain their stock price on Iphones alone!

I wrote yesterday that aapl would be at $120 by Nov...I like the company and think it is very well run,however,it too will be a victim of this exceedingly crappy economy...Thoughts anyone?

Continental Resources (CLR) -- "This is a remarkable decline. All of the high quality ones are down so much, I can't go against it. This is where you pull the trigger.
3M (MMM) -- The moment this stock starts yielding 5%, I'm a buyer. Until then, keep your powder dry.

Bearish Calls:

Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."
Annaly Mortgage (NLY) -- I think this is a business model that needs to borrow money. Definitively do not buy."
Northrop Grumman (NOC) -- You can't own the defense stocks right now. If I had to own one, I'd look at Lockheed Martin (LMT) with its good dividend.
