      Steve Jobs' Health: A Red Herring
      A bigger issue here is lowered margins. Apple wasn't shorted down ofter hours, it was sold off.

      Cleveland-Cliffs All Set to Exploit Emerging Market Steel Demand
      This is very similar to the FCX / Phelps Dodge merger. Freeport felt some initial weakeness then went on to double in 3 months.

      CLF is a great company with excellent resources that are no going to be better. I feel that the easing of Oil prices will only help the Global infrastructure plays. More $ being freed up for construction, cheaper to run the machines.

      CLF is just caught in the double whammy of being the aquierer and a sell off in all commodities. CLF just got another upgrade by Key Bank Tuesday with a target of $180.

      I feel by the end of next week it'll be back the the mid 110-120 range.

      Apple's iTunes: Rapid Sales Acceleration
      @kdogz13

      Apple was and still is REQUIRED by the record labels to provided DRM. Jobs has stated publicly that if the labels would let Apple sell their songs unlocked, they would.

      Besides, Amazon now offers unlocked songs and so does iTunes for a minor premium. There are also programs and script codes to automatically strip the DRM from iTunes and other DRM'd songs. Apple's monopoly comes from quality, ease of use and design, not from anti-competative behaviour.

      Apple Throws Down the Gauntlet
      Actually not every country has the same deal as ATT. Some countries will have revenue sharing and there will be less demand for unlocked phones since they'll be available in far more countries. Taking some profits is never a bad idea with any stock but with AAPL i'd keep a lion's portion.T

      Is Steve Jobs Sick Again, or Just Thin?
      The problem is, this isn't journalism. Did you call Apple and ask them about his health? This is a financial web site, not Vanity Fair or the Globe. Dicussing his health is fine if there is more than rumor or false "concern". Get some credible sources and a statement from Apple's PR and then write about it.

      fyi - SJ'd vegan diet is fact, he's talked about it. I personaly think all vegans look a little off. Dead animals are delicous.

      Apple: Buying on Weakness Ahead of 3G
      EVERYBODY hasn't bought an Apple product yet, the penetration potential for the iPhone globally is massive, iMacs, MacMinis and MacPros merely have their toe in the desktop market and their growth in the laptop market keeps gaining momentum. Apple has yet to disappoint on their numbers in 5 or so years. People talk about the slowing growth in the Ipod #'s but never add in the iTouch and iPhone #'s Sure, iPods have sold a lot less but those #'s have been made up and more so with the new tech - which are merely iPods on steroids. Apple has been consistantly 2 steps foward, 1 back and that's fine.
