The American Crisis and the Case for an Inflationary Depression
You are delusionary. There is no possible way to make a deflation into inflation by magic. Print money? Not possible because no one will borrow it.

This is a deflation (like Japan had) which is caused by the elimination of debt which causes the disappearance of money.

Preview from Europe: Records for the Dow, But No Feel-Good
Interesting chart which shows that the Nasdaq is down about the same as the Dow after 1929 and 1936. The Dow of 1929 should be compared with the NASDAQ of today. The S&P are large old companies and should not go down as much.

Looks to me like the downside is nearly finished. Most of the downside for the NASDAQ was in 2000 and not now.

      Lock in Low Gas Prices
groundhog---You of course are wrong. Oil is in a free market. OPEC has nothing to do with anything. Does OPEC want oil at $50? No but there is nothing they can do about it because the market drives the price not the phony monopoly OPEC.

Gold In Backwardation? Not So Fast ..
Gold is rallying but is still headed down because the dollar is headed up after this correction.

Gold does not go up during deflation. Inflation is dead.

Detroit has been destroyed by the unions (and managers who give in to them). Again Michigan is now completely a Democratic state. Handmaidens of the unions.

What Do State Unemployment Rates Show About the U.S. Economy?
Something not mentioned. Those states with the lowest unemployment have "right to work" laws. One of main causes of unemployment are unions. No one should have to pay union dues in order to get a job.

Also minimum wage laws must be eliminated. They also cause unemployment during difficult times. If an owner cant make a profit with a worker, they will not be hired. Instead the job is sent overseas.

What does this all boil down to? The Democrats are the main cause of unemployment.
