      The Coming Dollar Deflation
Okay, I have read the article. My take on this is David Bailey is REALLY Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid. If not, then Paulson or Bernanke are the alternate choices. In any case, none of the above can EVER be taken seriously or trusted, since they are merely elitist greedy bastards that want what you have, be it $$$, real estate, businesses, etc. Anything, period. Listen to (them) and you will be theirs!

My guess is that silver will be 300 and gold 4000!

Good article! Thanks for writing. I must disagree with one part, though. You say that silver is going to increase soon, but it won't go as high as one thinks. While no one knows HOW HIGH the price of silver (or gold) will go, I believe that once the upward move begins, it will be INCREDIBLE! The driving force will be our governments failure to settle the economy. I have NO DOUBT that silver will be THREE DIGITS, and gold FOUR DIGITS. The only unknown is what the FIRST DIGIT WILL BE!!!!!

Gold: The Next Reserve Currency Player
VERY interesting comments as usual. Responding to some of the posters: Saudi Arabia is DEPLETING there supply with INCREASING alarm. So, I don't think they will be the player Venezuela may be. Buying paper gold (GLD) and the rest is LUNACY! Period. huskerbob has it right! Any self-respecting gold bug KNOWS this.

      Mexico Mike: Amen!

      Deleveraging Pushes the Dollar Up
You raise a concern many I have talked to have also voiced. And my response is: "It depends". Should we get to that point, our economy will indeed be in shambles, which means that the ONLY useful method of wealth will be gold, silver, and similarly valued metals, diamonds, etc. "Spending" will take on a whole new meaning. You see, my dear, whatever needs you have, those able to fulfill them, will be GLADLY accepting your gold and silver, make no mistake about it.

God help us if we get to that point, because like one astute friend said to me the other day, we will REQUIRE THREE THINGS: gold/silver, gun, and seeds!

      Deleveraging Pushes the Dollar Up
SUPERB article! Spot on! Thank you for writing it! I only hope readers will take heed and RUN not walk to their nearest gold (and silver) source and stock up! After our government elitist greedy bastards DESTROY the almighty dollar, they will come after your gold and silver. If you haven't accumulated an appreciable amount, there will be nothing left to sustain oneself on, save for the gold and silver that has previoulsy been PHYSICALLY accumulated and stored in a safe (place). It should not have to be said, but just in case there may be a cave dweller who has recently emerged...don't put any gold, silver, or ANY VALUABLE items in a safety deposit box. That will be the FIRST place your government looks for booty! May God have mercy on us!

Gold In Backwardation? Not So Fast ..
Oh, in full disclousure, I am an American, I LOVE this country, I gave 41 years of my life DEFENDING this country, I HOPE all Americans could thrive and be well, but let's face it. Reality begs that we all see when one must abandon ship. That ship (the USD) is about to sail on a voyage that will take it to the end of the world, so lets just get off NOW!
BUY GOLD and SILVER, TAKE POSSESSION, and let's hope for the best!
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to all you great Americans!

Just when I thought CLH was dead, buried, and never to darken our golden door, here he comes again with the same old blather about how wonderful his almighty dollar$$$ is, and how disgusting that scourge of the world--gold--is. Well, CLH, you were ranting this crap when the USD was 90 and gold was 700. Now USD is 80is and gold 815. In a couple WEEKS, when your glorious $$$ is 70something, and gold is FOUR DIGITS, I'm certain you will find a SILVER lining, AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHA. Dumbass!

Fitzman has it right. I watch CNBC and Fox Business and its like watching soaps on CNBC and whats happening in the business world on Fox, period!
CNBC talking heads are media whores, and little else. Run the other way when they (CNBC) speak.

Its like seeing a great stock/mutual fund promoted to BUY on the cover of Money magazine. Even it if were legit, the stock/mutual fund is long past its time when you see it on a magazine cover, capeesch?
